The Macy's Credit Card is a store credit card that lets you earn points when you use it for purchases at Macy's. The Macy's Credit Card offers 2 points per $1 spent for Silver members, 3 points per $1 spent for Gold members, and 5 points per $1 spent for Platinum members.
The Macy's American Express® card can be used anywhere American Express® is accepted, It offers all the benefits of the Macy's store credit card and some bonus features. When you shop outside of Macy's you can get 3 points per $1 spent at restaurants, including delivery, get 2 points per $1 spent at gas stations and supermarkets, and get 1 point per $1 spent everywhere else.2
Once you reach 1,000 points, you’ll receive $10 in Star Money and can redeem your Star Money on Macy's merchandise.2
The Macy's Credit Card can only be used to purchase merchandise at Macy's stores, Macy's Backstage or macys.com. The Macy's American Express® Card can be used at all merchants that accept American Express® cards.
Use Citi’s online application to apply for a Macy's Credit Card or visit any Macy's store. When you apply, we will consider you for both the Macy's Credit Card and the Macy's American Express® Card. If you’re approved for both cards, you can select which card you prefer.
