Bio

Dolly is a high-energy user experience researcher with eight years of expertise in accelerating consumer adoption of emerging technologies and services. She serves as the primary research partner for Citi Ventures’ Blockchain and Digital Assets team—helping them develop blockchain-enabled products to facilitate a more inclusive and digital economy, communicate how different blockchain applications work, and demonstrate their efficacy to non-expert audiences.

Dolly began her career in government, helping amplify the campaign to encourage the uptake of smart energy meters in every home across the UK. From there, she went on to coach executives at several FTSE100 companies in digital transformation—reskilling the C-Suite at companies including Barclays, Travelex, and HSBC to meet the needs of their increasingly digital customers and employees. Her research insights have fueled the design of global digital adoption programs, supported the development of blockchain solutions for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands, and most recently helped the UK banking industry explore the use of open banking data to innovate their service offerings.

In her spare time, you’ll find Dolly either volunteering at women’s employment charity Smart Works or replacing all the items in her home with eco-friendly alternatives (once they’ve completed their natural lifecycle, of course).
