JSC Citibank joins the Charter for Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans

At the beginning of March 2026, JSC Citibank signed the Charter on Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans. This initiative arose as a result of cooperation between the National Bank of Ukraine and the EBRD. It provides for the interaction of institutions to ensure the cohesion of the financial sector on the inclusion and resocialization of veterans of the war in Ukraine.

Signing the Charter means committing to adhere to the following principles:

  1. make financial services more accessible and inclusive for veterans so that they have access to and use them on an equal footing;
  2. remove barriers that may prevent veterans from returning to work by introducing inclusive HR policies and practices in the financial sector;
  3. provide safe (i.e., trigger-free and risk-free) workplaces for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder;
  4. improve the availability of workplaces and facilities to support veteran clients and employees through the use of modified equipment or devices;
  5. support clients who can hire or serve veterans to make them more inclusive.

We remind you that in March 2025, JSC Citibank, together with members of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, signed the Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business with the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. All signatories were united by values that define practical steps for companies to create inclusive workspaces and support veterans in their adaptation to civilian life.
