At Citi, we're committed to helping your money work harder for you. With Citi Premium Boost, Eligible Customers can access a higher savings rate than the Citi Savings Standard Rate through common banking activities, so your Citi Savings account balance can grow faster.1
It's all built on one concept: the more you bank or invest with Citi, the more your savings rate grows.
What is Citi Premium Boost?
Citi Premium Boost is a new way to get more value from your Citi Relationship Tier that allows Eligible Customers to access a higher savings annual percentage yield (APY) than the Citi Savings Standard Rate for the banking activities they may already be doing. Qualifying monthly activities include basic banking practices, such as maintaining a certain level of investment balances or completing Direct Deposits. Citi Premium Boost can turn your routine into an opportunity to explore higher savings account interest rates.
You can track your progress and your current rate whenever you want in a dedicated dashboard in the Citi Mobile® App2.
How relationship banking benefits you
Citi Premium Boost is designed to unlock even more value from your existing Relationship Tier. As you deepen that relationship, your savings rate can grow right along with it.
How to qualify for Citi Premium Boost
Clients in a Relationship Tier who own a Regular Checking account and a Citi Savings account, can join Citi Premium Boost. Eligible Customers must complete the Required Activities associated with their Relationship Tier each month. These activities may already be part of their routine banking.
Clients in Citi Priority and Citigold® can select from Required Activities1 each month:
- Complete at least $5,000 in Direct Deposits or other qualifying transactions across Regular Checking accounts, such as your regular paycheck, or in other qualifying ACH transactions including recurring Zelle®, Venmo or PayPal transfers3
- $25,000 Average Monthly Balance in your eligible investment accounts
Complete your chosen Required Activities each month, and the Citi Premium Boost rate applies the next month. It's a simple way to earn a higher savings rate than the Citi Savings Standard Rate on your Citi Savings account.
Citigold® Private Client Relationship Tier customers simply need to own a Regular Checking account and a Citi Savings account to unlock the higher rate.
