Sabine joined Citi Ventures in 2020 as EMEA Portfolio Manager for D10X Institutional Clients Group (ICG). She is responsible for managing the development of the various initiatives in the D10X ICG portfolio across the discovery, validation, building, and launch phases. She will also look to leverage her knowledge of institutional banking to help shape the program’s innovation strategy.
Prior to Citi Ventures Sabine spent six years as a member of Citi’s EMEA Debt Capital Markets Syndicate team, advising borrowers seeking funding and executing bond transactions on their behalf. She started her career on the European Credit Sales desk within Citi’s Markets division. A former D10X founder, Sabine returned to Citi in 2020 after spending two years in her hometown of Beirut working in Investor Relations at a real estate investment firm.
Sabine holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. In her spare time she enjoys practicing yoga, running in Regent’s Park, and traveling with her husband.
