Neel leads Venture Innovation’s public-private innovation engagements in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, with particular focus on collaborations that promote sustainable economic development. He is responsible for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders and identifying opportunities to leverage Venture Innovation’s expertise and resources in ways that help clients meet their policy goals.
Neel joined Citi Ventures as a graduate of Citi Finance’s Senior Vice President Leadership Program. Since joining Citi in 2005 he has held a variety of senior strategic, operational, and regulatory transformation positions in a Finance career that has spanned London, Budapest, Dublin, and New York. Prior to Citi he was a corporate tax consultant in both professional services and industry, with roles at Andersen, Deloitte, and International Power.
Neel is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the ICAEW and holds a BSc. in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. He enjoys yoga, running, the arts, and travel.
