Bio

Michael McGlone is a Director at Citi Ventures and has been in venture investing at Citi for more than 18 years. He is responsible for direct and limited partner investments in venture capital funds. Michael’s investments include Kaleido, QCWare, Direct Books, Interop.io, LiquidX, Behavox, Fin Capital, Soma Capital and Illuminate. He has sat on over 20 boards and enjoys working with founders on M&A, strategic planning and partnerships. Notable past deals include working on the Tradeweb and Markit Group IPOs, standing up Visible Alpha (acquired by S&P Global), investing in Simon Group (acquired by iCapital) and serving on the Level ATS board, which merged with Luminex to form Kezar Markets.

Prior to joining Citi, Michael spent four years at JPMorgan Chase & Co in Global Investor Services, serving clients including Morgan Stanley, Bank of New York Mellon, Reich & Tang and Fidelity Investments. He started his career at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Intercapital.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Accounting, with a Minor in Communications and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), International Banking and Finance. Based in New York City, Michael is an avid swimmer, enjoys spending time at the beach, golfing and playing racquet sports with his family and close friends.
