Bio

Michael is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supporting Citi Ventures. He partners with the Venture Investing, Operations and Risk teams to provide decision support, and also performs portfolio management activities.

Michael joined Citi in May 2022. Prior to that, he held several roles at American Express in Pricing, Finance and Strategy for their Network Partnerships, Merchant Services, Corporate Services and Loyalty teams. Michael started his career as a corporate banker at Comerica supporting their International and Middle Market Lending groups.

Michael graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Finance, and received a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in International Finance and Economic Policy (specializing in Latin America) from Columbia University. He is in the process of attaining his CPA license.

Michael lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife and twins; enjoys tennis, snowboarding, rowing and hockey; and can be found on weekends exploring new restaurants and spending time in Riverside Park.
