Matteo Betti manages the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) D10X program for Citi’s Latin America (LATAM) Markets and Securities Services business. His work focuses on encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, building ventures, and incubating new fintech products and startups for the bank.
Prior to Citi, Matteo was a Product Manager for Enterprise Innovation at Fannie Mae, where he was responsible for managing the product lifecycle of new ideas from concept ideation to market-readiness. His work included: leading design sprints with business units; heading research efforts to gather and analyze market, customer, and internal feedback; and working with cross-functional teams to create prototypes and MVPs. Matteo also held positions in Credit Risk and Third-Party Risk Management at Fannie Mae, specializing in analytics and vendor management.
Matteo holds an MA in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University SAIS and a BA in Political Science from CUNY Hunter College. Matteo is an avid soccer fan and a cooking enthusiast. He grew up in Rome, Italy and now lives in New Jersey with his wife and their dog.
