Bio

Katya Boytsova is the Head of Operations, Governance & Risk and Control for Citi Ventures, globally. In her role, Katya is responsible for leading business and performance management activities and operations, as well as managing governance and risk and control activities. Katya strives to anticipate challenges and optimize opportunities, engage in proactive problem-solving, and deliver workable solutions.

Prior to joining Citi Ventures, Katya held multiple roles at Citi—most recently in the Personal Banking and Wealth Management organization, where she led financial planning and investment product solutions, managed risks and controls for strategic partnerships, cultivated innovative programs and experiences, and developed differentiated value propositions and products. Prior to this, she was the Head of Digital Segment Strategy within Citi’s Consumer Wealth organization. Katya also managed financial planning and analysis activities across consumer deposit and lending businesses, globally. Preceding Citi, Katya was part of the healthcare investment banking group at JPMorgan, and worked in corporate financial planning and analysis at Assured Guaranty.

Katya received her BBA from Baruch College, City University of New York, with a focus on Finance & Investments and Business Law. In her spare time, Katya can be found spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the performing arts and museums, traveling, running, hiking with her dog, and perfecting her parallel skiing technique.
