Bio

Jeff develops key content and insights for Citi Ventures across a variety of channels, from a monthly internal newsletter to this website. A lifelong learner with a broad range of expertise, he specializes in translating technical information into accessible language and crafting compelling narratives out of conversations with finance, technology, and innovation experts across Citi and beyond.

Prior to Citi Ventures, Jeff ran communications for nonprofits in the arts, humanities, and environmental fields as well as for two short-lived e-commerce and entertainment startups. In 2016 he published a book called Four Dollars and a Dream: The Life and Times of Cino Chegia, which is available on Amazon. He also writes book reviews for the online literary journal Atticus Review.

Jeff received a B.A. in English from Stanford University and an M.A. in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. A Bay Area native, he has also lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, DC. In his free time, Jeff can be found spending time with family and friends, attending arts and cultural events, playing music, exploring the great outdoors, or cheering on his beloved local sports teams.
