Add your eligible Citi ® Credit card to Samsung Pay right from the Citi Mobile ® App for Android.

  1. Go to the "Services" tab on the Citi Mobile App and select "Card Control Hub".
  2. Tap "Add to Samsung Pay".
  3. Enter a one-time password to authenticate and you'll be all set to start using Samsung Pay.

To add your eligible Citi card to Samsung Pay, simply:

  1. Open your Samsung Pay app.
  2. Tap the "plus" icon (+) over the payment card.
  3. Add your Citi® card or Citibank® Debit Card using your phone's camera, or manually enter your card information. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete registering your card.

Samsung Pay is also available on Google Play as a free download for compatible devices.

Samsung Pay FAQs

Samsung Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service developed by Samsung. You can make payments with your Citi cards using Samsung smartphones, smartwatches and other compatible devices in stores, online, and with merchant apps.

All Citi-branded consumer credit and debit cards issued in the US are eligible for Samsung Pay, except for ATM cards and American Express cards. In addition, Costco Anywhere Visa® Business cards, CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Select cards and CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® cards are also eligible.

  1. Go to the "Services" tab on the Citi Mobile App and select "Card Control Hub".
  2. Tap "Add to Samsung Pay".
  3. Enter a one-time password to authenticate and you'll be all set to start using Samsung Pay.

Samsung Pay replaces your real card number with a digital card number. This means that when you use Samsung Pay to pay in stores:

  • Your real card number is not shared with merchants
  • Statements and receipts will show the digital card number
  • To return items you might need to show the digital card number

Plus, every transaction is authenticated by your fingerprint, pin number or facial recognition.

If your phone is lost or stolen, you can remotely lock or erase your Samsung Pay account.

Its simple, just use your Citi card to pay with Samsung Pay. The last card you used will automatically be the one that will stay on top of your wallet the next time you pay with Samsung Pay.
