Use your Citi^® card with
Google Wallet^™

Google Wallet is a fast and simple way to pay in stores, online and in apps using your Citi card. On an Android device, you can add your Citi card to Google Wallet to make contactless payments in stores and use Google Wallet at participating online and in-app merchants. If you don’t have an Android device, you can still save your eligible Citi card to your Google account for faster checkout with Google Wallet at participating online merchants and for autofill in Chrome.

All Citi branded consumer credit and debit cards issued in the U.S. are eligible for Google Wallet, except for ATM cards and American Express^® cards. Citi branded business cards are not eligible for Google Wallet, except for U.S. issued Costco Anywhere Visa^® Business cards.

Download the Google app from Google Wallet.

Simply unlock your Android phone and hold near the terminal until you see a confirmation. If Google Wallet is set as your default wallet, you may not need to open the app first.

Note: Google Wallet tap to pay is available on Android devices only. iPhone users can make contactless payments using Apple Pay.

1. Locate your receipt from your purchase.
2. Take both the receipt and the item you want to return to the store.
3. Hold the back of your phone to the contactless payment terminal.
4. For some returns, you might have to provide the last 4 digits of your virtual account number. You can find your virtual account number on the card details screen in your Google Wallet app.

With Google Wallet, you can pay online and within apps with a few quick clicks or taps. Just look for the Google Wallet logo or the Buy with Google Wallet button at checkout, choose your Citi card as preferred payment method (or set it as default card) and complete the order. Your payment information will be automatically filled, so you don't need to type anything.

When you pay in stores, your real card number is not shared with merchants. Instead, it is replaced with a unique digital card number that helps protect your card information. This means that when you use Google Wallet to pay in stores:

• Your real card number is not shared with merchants Google Wallet
• Statements and receipts will show the digital card number
• To return items you might need to show the digital card number

You will see this digital card number shown on Google Wallet as a 4-digit ‘virtual account number’.

The first card you add to Google Wallet is automatically set as your default. To change your default card for contactless payments:

1. Open the Google Wallet App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel) and select your Citi card as your default.
2. Tap the three dots menu in the top right.
3. Select “Make default for tap to pay”.

Cardless ATM access is available at Citibank branches for all Citibank consumer debit cardholders, including those with Everyday Benefits, Citi Priority, Citigold^®, Citigold^® Private Clients, and Citi Private Bank relationships. To use this feature, cardholders must have added their debit card to an eligible digital wallet, such as Apple Pay^®, Google Wallet^™, or Samsung Pay^®.

Citibank consumer debit cardholders can access their account at any Citibank branch ATM nationwide.

You can use Find My device to quickly put your device in Lost Mode to suspend Google Wallet, Additionally, you can call the number on back of your card and a customer service representative will help you.
