Mr. Alegre, who has held his current position since 2009, joined Citi in 1994 as a Financial Analyst for the Institutional Clients Group (ICG). After that, he was responsible for the development and management of the Leasing business in Argentina. In 2001, he led Argentina's Asset Based Finance and Leasing Division-Soft Assets group for ICG and was in charge of the development and management of all products related to Short Term Financing. Two years later, he became Business Planning Head for ICG and was responsible for managing the Annual Business Plan, Monthly and Mid-Year Forecasts and Balance Sheet Projections. In 2006, he was promoted to Channel Finance Head, leading the execution of the new strategy for Receivables Finance (Suppliers & Customers Financing) and the development and management of all Corporate Lending Products until the end of 2008.
