How do I register for the E-statements for my Bank Account?

- Sign on to Citibank Online, go to ‘Account Information’ tab, select ‘E-statement’ and click on ‘Register for E-statement’  - Call our 24-hour CitiPhone Banking Service on +9714 311 4000 to register for this service.

You can select from two options:
E-Statement Reminder Service (Default) – By selecting this option, you will receive an email notification on your preferred email address when your e-statement is available on Citibank Online.
E-Statement Delivery Service (Optional) – By selecting this option, you will receive your e-statement on your preferred email address as a PDF attachment. This email will also notify you that your e-statement is available for viewing on Citibank Online.

What advantages does it provide?

- E-statements are accessible at any time and from anywhere through Citibank Online or by e-mail.
- They cannot fall into the hands of anyone else, which is a possibility with a paper statement.
- The structure of the E-statement is the same as that of a paper statement.
- Past bank account statements are kept online for a full year, beginning from the time you have registered for the service.
- Your E-statements are viewed through Citibank Online secure site and are backed by a secondary level of security using 128-bit encryption, the highest level of encryption commercially available. Moreover, this service keeps your financial information out of your mailbox and trash and away from identity thieves.
– You will receive your E-statements faster than through regular mail and they will be available on Citibank Online the same day your statement is generated. It also reduces paper clutter by providing access to your banking statements electronically.
- E-statements are environmentally friendly. Help reduce your paper clutter, increase your banking security and save some trees at the same time.
– You can always return to having your paper statement mailed to you if needed. It is simple to go back to paper statements should you change your mind, so you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

How can I get my E-statement Password?

If you register for E-Statements on Citibank Online and select the “E-Statement Delivery Service”, you will be asked to enter E-statement password of your choice. This password has to be: 
- Minimum 6 and maximum 8 characters long
- Have at least one alphabet as capital
- Password has to be alpha numeric
In case you are registered for E-Statements by Citibank, a random E-Statement password will be generated for you which will be a combination of your mobile number and date of birth available in our records.
For example, if your mobile number is 050-1234567 and date of birth is December 17th, your random E-Statement password will be 5012345671712.

What if I forget my E-statement Password, how can I change it?

To change your E-Statement password, please sign on to Citibank Online, click on ‘Account Information’ - ‘E-statement’ - ‘See and Change Registration’.

Will I receive my bank account E-statement every month?

The frequency for e-statements will be the same as it is for paper statements.

How will I know when my E-statement is ready for viewing?

You will receive an email on your preferred email address to inform you that your e-statement is available for viewing on Citibank Online.

After I register for E-statement service, when will I start getting my E-statements?

It takes one statement cycle to begin receiving your E-statements. The frequency for receiving your E-statements will be the same as it is for paper statements.

Will I receive E-statement for all my bank accounts?

Yes, you will receive account details for all your bank accounts and your E-Statement will be identical to your paper statement.

If a joint account holder registers for E-statements, will the primary account holder continue to receive paper statements?

If any of the joint account holder registers for E-statements through Citibank Online, all paper statements will be
discontinued and E-statement notification emails will be sent to the preferred email address provided during registration.

I have a supplementary card with Citibank. Can I also sign up for E-statements?

No. Only the primary account holder or basic Credit Cardmember can register for this service.

What should I do if I need to change my email address?

The process of updating your latest contact information will remain the same. Simply sign on to Citibank Online and click on the "Change Details" option on the left hand side, then select "Change Contact Information". You can also call our 24-hour CitiPhone Banking service on +9714 311 4000 to update your email address.

If I have registered for E-statement reminder service, can I change the service to E-statement delivery service to start receiving my e-statement via email?

Yes, to change your registration from E-statement Reminder Service to E-statement Delivery Service, go to ‘Account Information’ tab, select ‘E-statement’ and click on ‘View / Change EnrollmentRegistration’

Up to how many month’s statements will be available on Citibank Online?

From the time you register for this service, a record of 12 months statements can be accessed on Citibank Online.

E-statement enrollment form asks for 2 email addresses, will I get my E-statement on both email addresses?

E-statement will be sent to your preferred email address provided during registration. If your E-statement returns undelivered after multiple attempts, your E-statement will then be sent to the secondary email address.

Can I register for both E-statement Delivery Service and E-statement Reminder Service?

Yes, you can. When you register for the E-Statement Delivery Service, you will receive an email on your preferred email address with your e-statement attached and this email will also notify you that your e-statement is available for viewing on Citibank Online.
