Sonia Wędrychowicz-Horbatowska has been the Vice President of the Management Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. since October 1, 2006. She is simultaneously the Head of the Consumer Banking Sector.

She started her work in Citibank Poland in1994 in Cash Management in Transaction Services Division. In 2002 Sonia Wędrychowicz-Horbatowska became Head of Cash and Trade, and was given the additional responsibility for GSS in 2003. Later that year, she became Global Transaction Services Head and held that position until September 31, 2006.

Sonia Wędrychowicz-Horbatowska holds a Master's degree in Foreign Trade from Warsaw School of Economics and a BA in European Business Studies from Brunel University in London.
