Citi Handlowy is launching an innovative service allowing location of partners of the Discount Program for Citibank credit card holders via SMS messaging. Thanks to this service the customers of Citi Handlowy can quickly and easily check the addresses of the nearest points of sale offering attractive discounts on purchases made with the Citibank credit card by simply sending a SMS text message.

All the customer needs to do is to send an SMS text message with the code "R" to 70233. In response to the SMS text message the customer receives a return message asking him/her to specify the industry of interest. Next, a list of the nearest shops operating in the selected sector and offering rebates on purchases made with the Citibank credit card is sent.

The Citibank Credit Card Discount Program offers customers rebates of up to 50% on purchases in more than 3,100 points of sale all over Poland. The number of shops and points of sale in the Citibank Credit Card Discount Program is constantly growing.

The cost of one SMS request for the location of the nearest points of sale offering rebates is PLN 0.61 (including tax). The customers accessing the Mobile Discount Locator for the first time, after sending an SMS request to 70233, will be asked to consent to their mobile phones being traced by sending an SMS text message to the number provided by their mobile phone operator. The SMS text message with the consent is free of charge. The Mobile Discount Locator is available to all Era, Plus and Orange subscribers.
