Citi Handlowy and MetLife Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A. have launched a subscription for Inwestycyjne Ubezpieczenie na Życie "Bogactwa Rosji" ("Treasures of Russia" Investment Life Insurance). This offer will allow customers to earn higher returns linked to the share prices of Russian companies and, at the same time, provide 100% capital guarantee.

The "Treasures of Russia" Investment Life Insurance is an innovative combination of transaction security and the opportunity to earn higher returns than traditional deposit products. The customers are provided life coverage for three years and a 100% premium guarantee on the expiry date of the insurance. Additionally, the product holders are able to participate in profits of leading Russian companies. The rate of return on the "Treasures of Russia" product depends on the performance of shares of five Russian companies operating in the power and mining sectors.

The "Treasures of Russia" Investment Life Insurance has been developed by Citi Handlowy and MetLife Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A. Thanks to the fact that the product is sold in the form of endowment insurance, the profits accrued from the investment are not subject to capital gains tax. Additionally, the capital invested is also free from inheritance and donation taxes. The minimum premium amount is PLN 5,000. The subscription for the "Treasures of Russia" Investment Life Insurance will last until August 1, 2008.
