The weekend of June 20 in the Main Market Square in Cracow magical sounds of enchanted songs filled the air. The Kronenberg Foundation of Citi Handlowy has, for the third time, funded grants for the winners of the Fourth Enchanted Song Festival. Actress Anna Dymna's Foundation "Mimo Wszystko" ("Against the Odds") was supported by Citi Handlowy volunteers.
The hosts of this year's Marek Grechuta Enchanted Song Festival were Anna Dymna, Maciej Stuhr and Zbigniew Zamachowski. The festival final featured also performances by Polish singers: Natalia Kukulska, Kasia Cerekwicka, Halinka Mlynkova, Grzegorz Markowski, Andrzej Sikorowski and Szymon Wydra. Citi Handlowy volunteer, Edyta Tararuj was invited to the stage to collect the "Personality of the Month" award from Anna Dymna, which is awarded by the Volunteer Center.
The 4th Marek Grechuta National Enchanted Song Festival was possible thanks to the cooperation of TVP, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, PFRON and Anna Dymna's "Against the Odds" Foundation. The patrons of the project were President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczynski, Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bogdan Zdrojewski and Government's Plenipotentiary for Disabled People Jaroslaw Duda. The Festival was organized under the artistic patronage of Irena Santor. The media patrons were: TVP 2, RMF FM, Gazeta Krakowska, Rzeczpospolita, Wirtualna Polska.
The project is addressed to vocally-gifted disabled persons whose social situation does not allow them to develop their talents and skills.
