"Luxury Investment" Offered by Citi Handlowy

Citi Handlowy has launched a subscription for 4-year structured bonds linked to luxury products. The issuer of the product, which will be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) under the name of "Luxury Goods", is Barclays Bank PLC, and the coordinator of the offering is Dom Maklerski Banku Handlowego, the brokerage house of Bank Handlowy. The new product not only allows customers to indirectly invest in ten companies producing luxury goods, but it also offers 100% capital guarantee at investment maturity.

The 4-year Structured Bonds allow customers to indirectly invest in ten companies producing luxury items, including such producers as Burberry, which is known for its top quality clothing and fine leather accessories; Dior, a company designing, producing and selling luxury clothing, cosmetics and alcohols; and Ralph Laurent, famous for top quality of clothing, cosmetics and home collection. At the same time the "Luxury Goods" Structured Bonds offer 100% capital guarantee, provided that they are not redeemed before maturity.

The par value of one "Luxury Goods" Bond is PLN 100 and the issue price is equal to par. Each customer can subscribe for minimum 50 bonds, which means that they need to invest at least PLN 5,000 thousand each. The "Luxury Goods" Structured Bonds are available in a public offering. The issuer of the structured bonds on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is BARCLAYS BANK PLC. Customers can subscribe for the structured bonds in the Customer Service Point of Dom Maklerski Banku Handlowego S.A. and in Order-Acceptance Points located in selected branches of Citi Handlowy. The subscription will last until July 25, 2008.
