The Leopold Kronenberg Foundation was created 10 years ago, to mark the 125th anniversary of the founding of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. It conducts national scale and local programs on behalf of Citi Handlowy.
The Foundation's mission is to support institutions active in promoting public good: foundations, associations, schools, community centers, libraries and territorial government units.
We support programs in the following areas:
I. EDUCATION:
- REFORMS IN EDUCATION,
- ECONOMIC EDUCATION,
- CULTURAL HERITAGE AND TRADITION,

SUPPORT FOR YOUNG ARTISTS AND TALENTED YOUNT PEOPLE.
II. LOCAL DEVELOPMENT:

- SOCIAL POLICY,

TEACHING ENTERPRENEURSHIP.
In 10 years of its public activity, the Foundation received over 9,500 grant applications, accepted 1,250 applications and distributed grants for the total 25,700,000 PLN (including 10,600,000 PLN for local initiatives).
