Q-1. Who should I contact for claims under the insurance policy?
Ans-1 For claims you can contact the claims manager of ALICO at 021-111-111-711. Alternatively you can also fill an online form available at www.alico.com.pk or written notice of claim must be given to the Insurance Company within thirty (30) days after the occurrence of any loss covered by the Policy. Written notice of claim given by or on behalf of the Insured Person to the principal office of the company, with information sufficient to identify to the insured and/or beneficicary shall be deemed as notice to the Company.
Q-2. How much time does it take to settle the claim?
Ans-2. 15 working days subject to completion of all formalities and documentation
Q-3. What documents are required for claims settlement?
Ans-3. Following documents and/or any other document as may be required by the Insurance Company pertaining to the loss sustained by the Insured Person:
FOR ALL LOSSES:
- CLAIMANT STATEMENT
- PHYSICIAN STATEMENT
- ORIGINAL PROOF OF AGE
- ORIGINAL GUARDIANSHIP CERTIFICATE
- INDIVIDUAL CERTIFICATE OF COVER
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR LOSS OF LIFE DUE TO AN ACCIDENT INDEMNITY:
- ORIGINAL DEATH CERTIFICATE
- HOSPITAL DEATH CERTIFICATE
- FINAL POLICE REPORT (Only in the case where incidence of death is a matter of criminal report with any law enforcement agency)
- POSTMORTEM REPORT(Only in the case where incidence of death is a matter of criminal report with any law enforcement agency)
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR ACCIDENT & SICKNESS IN-HOSPITAL INCOME AND MEDICAL EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT:
- ORIGINAL HOSPITAL RECORD INCLUSIVE OF BILLS
- INCASE OF INJURIES, FINAL POLICE REPORT
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR CRITICAL ILLNESS INSURANCE:
Where the claim is based upon Fulminant Viral Hepatitis or Cancer, the Insurance Company shall be entitled to require the Insured Person to undergo test including a test for the detection of any HIV as a condition precedent to any acceptance by the Company of due proof of such Critical Illness.

Q-4. Which hospitals can the policy holder go for treatment?
Ans-4. There are no restrictions; the policy holder can avail medical facilities from any hospital/clinic in Pakistan or anywhere in the world.
