Now Free Air Ticket to all New Malév-Citibank Credit Cards

Customers to select from 22 European destinations

All customers applying for a new Malév-Citibank co-brand card from May 1 and July 31, 2009, activating it and doing at least one cash or purchase transaction with their new credit card will receive a free return air ticket.* In the joint promotion of Malév and Citibank, customers can select a preferred destination from Malév's 22 scheduled flights to cities across Europe. The gift return air ticket includes all related taxes, airport and other fees, so new cardholders do not need to spend anything on the flight. Malév-Citibank Gold Card holders receive free travel insurance in addition, a service connected to the gold credit card. Customers can travel with the free ticket from September 15 and December 15, 2009. "Since the launch of the Citibank Credit Card in the Hungarian market more than a decade ago, we have introduced at least ten unique innovations in response to the increasing customer demand. Our customers know that they receive real value-added services with their comfortable, flexible and secure payment instrument from Citibank. Thanks to Malév's membership in oneworld, our passengers can redeem their points not only on the Malév network but also on that of the airline alliance spanning some 700 destinations in 150 countries and, naturally, they can continue to accrue points", stressed Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer of Malév.   Customers will certainly be able to select their most preferred destination among the 22 cities, including Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Helsinki, Istanbul, Larnaca, London, Paris, Prague, Rome, Salonika, Sofia, Targu-Mures, Venice, Warsaw and Zurich. Application to the Malév-Citibank credit card can be easily and quickly initiated on Citibank's website at www.citibank.hu by filling in a registration form, which will be then followed by a Citibank banker meeting the customer to allow for a comfortable management of the related administrative work. Customers can also apply to the credit card via the CitiPhone Banking telephone customer service by dialing the 06-40-24-84-24 blue number. Currently more than 15 thousand Malév-Citibank credit card holders are collecting the Bonus Points in Malév's Duna Club Frequent Flyer Program by shopping with their credit cards. These points can then be exchanged to bonus air tickets in the Malév and oneworld network, based on contractual terms and conditions. * Those individuals may participate in the promotion who apply for a new main Malév-Citibank credit card
from May 1 - July 31, 2009 and perform at least one successful cash or purchase transaction following the activation of the issued credit card not later than September 10, 2009. Customers meeting the set criteria will receive a free, economy class return air ticket to be used from September 15 - December 15, 2009 in any of the following destinations with departure from Budapest: Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Helsinki, Istanbul, Larnaca, London, Paris, Prague, Rome, Salonika, Sofia, Targu-Mures, Venice, Warsaw and Zurich.

A minimum of one Saturday night and a maximum of 14 days spent abroad is a requirement related to the free ticket. Information on the promotion is not full-scale. The Participation Terms and Conditions document with detailed information is available in the branches and is posted at www.citibank.hu and www.malev.hu websites. Those customers who are changing their already existing Citibank credit card or participating in other promotions, respectively those who have already had a Malév-Citibank credit card before are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

Silver Card APR in the first year is 44.15%, from the second year it is 45.42%, Gold Card APR in the first year is 46.14%, from the second year it is 49.53%. The monthly interest rate is a cost included in the APR calculation. Calculation of the APR is based on actual contractual terms and the applicable laws and it may be changed when these terms and laws change. The settlement period based on which APR is calculated is one month, the APR does not reflect the interest risk of the loan
