Jordan
History Citibank N.A. (‘Citi') was first established in Jordan in 1974 and it is now a fully licensed commercial bank with two branches located in the capital city, Amman. Currently, we have approximately 70 employees based in Jordan, who are responsible for Citi's business in Jordan, Syria and the Palestine National Authority. We are presently the only commercial U.S. bank in the country and the only global foreign bank with senior local management.
