Choose a GIC Option that suits your needs:
Non-redeemable Option
Allows you to enjoy a higher interest rate than the cashable option by
locking in your funds for the full term. |
 |
Cashable Option
Gives you the flexibility to cash out any time before maturity (at early redemption rates) |
 |
Interest can be paid annually to your GIC, chequing or savings account. For GIC accounts with terms of one year or less, interest will be paid at maturity. You can also have the interest paid by bank draft at the end of the term.
GIC accounts are renewed automatically at maturity for the same term and option at the interest rate in effect on the renewal date.
