Planning a trip involves many decisions. Perhaps the most important of these decisions is your choice of travel insurance. If you're not covered for a medical emergency away from home, it could cost you more than your trip - you could end up paying your own medical bills. Provincial health insurance plans cover only a portion of costs incurred for medical care outside of Canada.
Every time you travel outside of your home province or territory, you also leave your government health plan behind. Make sure you and your loved ones have adequate health coverage when traveling.
If you're already a Citi MasterCard® Cardmember it takes just two minutes to enrol yourself and your family for the Out-of-Province/Country Travel Medical Plan.
